Anybody else going to the Donnington park track day on sunday? Looks a bit of a bargain for a full day of open pit lane on the GP circuit for £150 ???

First outing of the shed this weekend... (thats my crappy old 205Gti, feel free to overtake)

Bennno, where are the details for this track day. I should be collecting my caterham this afternoon so Sunday would be perfect IF they still have spaces.

Just picked up my 'lad-motorsported' 205 after its set up and rolling road tune, its putting out 160-170bhp at the wheels ( about 225-230bhp at the flywheel) and my god in a stripped out 205 it flies. I guess its about 800kgs so has a power to weight of almost 300bhp / tonne.

I don't think I have ever been so scared in all of my life, (assuming its sunny) i cannot wait to don the slicks and open it up around donnington.

Was around Donington yesterday evening in a friends 4.2 Cerberra (my first drive of one) around the GP circuit and I have to say it is a fantastic circuit to drive round and just encourages you to push harder and harder.

It is extremely hard on brakes though if it is the full GP ciruit with Foggy's, Melbourne and Goddards needing a whole lot of stopping.

Have fun on Sunday !

Cheers

Mark
