Saw the blue Tamoro being very well driven but didn't get chance to come and say hello!
I'm flattered, but I think Simon might beg to differ about "well driven" after the lesson I had with him
I saw your techno-violent machine early in the day and meant to say hello but didn't see it again at all in the afternoon. Did you leave early or did I somehow miss you?
Don
No, actually Don I put you in a category of driving well also. Particularly considering your experience.
I'm am very critical to keep you focussed, so in a 20 minute session you will always feel you could have done better until you know thats how I work. Bet you went even faster with more confidence very soon afterwards though.

I did thanks Simon, and the track drying out also helped give confidence to push a bit harder on braking and through the corners in the afternoon.
I spoke to a few people who like me found the corner after the straight to be the slippiest on the course that day (no coincidence it claimed the most gravel trap victim then!), and few more PSI in the rears helped sort the oversteer I was experiencing there. I'm keen to go back as it was only towards the end of the day that I felt I was starting to learn the course a bit - much harder than Silverstone IMO.

I have never seen a TVR being pushed on the track before - most owners seem scared to give them any stick I have found in the past. You were keeping up with what should have been, much faster machinery, so thumbs up from me!
I didn't leave early but didn't spend as much time on the track as I would have liked because I fitted some new seats the evening before and my head was hard against the roof when I had my helmet on due to Recaro sending me the wrong subframes!
