It was indeed a fantastic weekened, really great to meet so many friendly Petrol/Pistonheads in such a great surrounding. As Dave said the track really was very good and technical with better than expected facilities. I really enjoyed getting the Tuscan on the track and started to get to grips with it, it was also a great opportunity to gauge it''s performance relative to the other cars there (and to see the incredible capability of the bike engined Furys). Roll on next year! Dave, do you have anymore pictures you could post up somewhere? Mike Field, can you post up the details of Fisher cars at some point - I''m hooked! Cheers, Mike.

Forgot to say, you can (and people have!) put a rover V8 in a fury. TVR sound, TVR+ grunt and elise rivaling handling. Maybe I don't want a TVR anymore...........

One of the attractions of the bike engined car is it sounds so good. Coming down that back straight it sounded like a quieter Formula One car! It gives what (no offence!) otherwise looks a fairly timid little car enormous presence.

Ohh to be on that bottom hairpin again today Yes indeedy, it didn't pass my notice (or anyones for that matter) that you were treating that corning to the skid pan treatment - it was great to watch (and hear) you so obviously having so much fun. I agree entirely about the Fury soundtrack, if I were to go ahead and buy one (as a pure trackday car) it'll have to be a Fireblade or Blackdird - the things sounded incredible (and went pretty well too). And the final icing on the cake? If you do lunch the engine (by taking it beyond 14000rpm!!!) you can replace it for less than £1500 (as opposed to £15,000 for the Speed 6???). Now that's gotta give you piece of mind. Mike.

I have a short (1 min, 5.5Mb) mpeg of a TWIN bike engined westfield. If anyone is interested, I can mail it. I can't remember the link. I still prefer a V8 tho'

Got to say it was a fantastic weekend especially the Saturday. Could have done with a couple of more hours track time, to try and trim off a couple of more seconds in my car (gunmetal Elise). But Mike's fury, wow! That was a different thing altogether, and it's so bloomin' cheap! Still think the sequential gearbox is the wrong way around

Well if you don't like the way it works, you can easily change it around!
