Been looking for some good value trackdays to finish the year off.

For £95 you can have a full day at Donington Park on Sundays in Nov & Dec, see:

www.donington-park.co.uk/trakzone/

Did this once earlier in the year, it is a superb track especially as it was re-surfaced a few months back. It was also run as an open pit lane so 200 miles is easy to reach and that means excellent value at under 50p per track mile, so the VFMI is good (Value For Money Index!)

I am booked on Sunday 21st Nov, any other takers?

They are all sessioned days though and they don't say what the limit on number of cars attending is or how many sessions, cars per session, or what circuit!

Could end up like the Castle Combe action days!

good point

not many booked for this though, so am secretly hoping it will go open pit lane from lunchtime -- still excellent value IMO.

Or it could end up with lots of cars turning up on the day!

Fun circuit though - especially in the wet!

Sounds tempting. The £50 'temporary' engine in my Mk1 Golf is still holding together, so I quite fancy doing one more day this year, especially at that price. With only 110 bhp and very little experience, session format isn't an issue for me.

Are there any limits on the noise?

yeah it will be a 98dB drive-by limit. and they're *much* stricter these days than they have been in years gone by - so just because you've been before dont assume you'll be OK this time....

we're there on Saturday (also a quiet useage day).
