After doing my first trackday i find my not too old tyres have lumps of rubber(marbles?) stuck to them which i wrongly thought would wear off soon. Will the lumps go eventually or will i have to remove them? If so, what is the best way of cleaning them up.
TIA.
Andy

Just drive as usual, they will disappear. Did Castle Coombe and right-hand tyres all marbled. Took a couple of weeks to go. Went to Oulton Park and left-hand tyres marbled - by time I returned to Wiltshire from Cheshire, marbles gorn.

Do a couple of one-off hard stops from speed to loose your blisters.
Get some track tyres for trackdays.

If you do get some tracktyres, give some serious consideration to some f2 type rally slicks. Most opt for the motorbike type tread patterns from yoko etc, but unless you are on a perfect smooth racetrack (unusual in the uk) I have always found the rallyslicks far grippier.
BTW, Tyres without much tread will eliminate any blistering problems - but they will put more wear/tear on suspension and brakes.

Yes, ive already found myself looking at bigger brakes, better damping and new poly bushes, i can see money being a limiting factor here. Oh and braided hoses, my God its worse than i thought, dont tell the wife
