Track days and electronic driver assistance (PSM)

Going to my third track day session Sunday, what is the wisdom with electronic stability assistance programes ?

I have Porsche Stability Management and always had it on before (I can take it off), does it really spoil the fun ?

What's your take ?

Depends. PSM will allow the car to slide. So if you are into driving tidily with just the optimal level of slip to be really fast it shouldn't actually ever interfere.

If it does generally you would be wanting it to.

I leave it on myself...on regular track days...

I intend to switch it off during "way over" the limit training. And when I go "drifting" to finish off the current set of tyres
