Has anyone used Brunters before - I've heard this is a rough track (surface/debris wise)?

I took my GT3 there a few months ago on a cheeeeerity day.

When i got home my front bumper looked like it had been shot at by a 12 bore shot gun !!!!
So yes, there are a lot of stones about !!

Other than that i thought it was a fun track to see what speed you could manage down the straight.

Seems quite safe, as most of the arears were 10 lanes wide.

Also good for a bit of plane spotting.

P.S. How do you get on with your AMG ??, i have a C32 AMG as a daily drive, but the gearbox drives me nuts

It seems to collect stones over the winter (frost damage?) so the first couple of events of the year you need to be carefull about stones thrown up by cars in front, but once these have been cleared off the track it's fine. Not a particularly challenging circuit, but the chicane complex stops it from being too boring.

Thanks for the comments Glenn - sounds a little worrying! This is for a charidee day this saturday and they say they have a big road sweeping lorry and will clean the track beforehand - also it's a small section of track and not the whole thing!

Merc - absolutely no problems from new (collected direct from Bremen factory) - the gearbox is perfect but sometimes has a "moment" when it displays a mind of its own (this'll be because its a "learning" box!).

Cheers.

Cheers, and sounds OK then as they'll be sweeping the track first with a road-sweeper! Re the circuit, its only for charity so a small section of circuit but they're only charging 55s squids!

They supposedly swept it before I went on in July but still lots of chips (but that's a fact of life when tracking really).

Do watch out for the hares though.
