Petrol nr Anglesey?

Any ideas for petrol nr the Anglesey circuit? My problem is that I drive there in my track car from Cheshire and even with a jerry can I'm looking to fill up by lunchtime.

I've used the local station in Rhosneigr (??) but God knows what that stuff is. According to Shell's website there's no Optimax west of Chester. There's a BP in Colwyn Bay that I could use for a top-up on the way there - if they're open at 7:00am on Sundays ;-)

There is a Shell station just off the A55 as you get on to the island. Just follow signs to Beaumaris and you'll pass it.

It's a little bit of a trek, but perfectly possible to make it there and back in the lunch break of you need to.

Can you fit one of these in your track car?



With that additional 20L, fill it on the way with fuel of your choice; perhaps you could get another 50 miles of track in!

I have tried to find the one at Gaerwen before and could only find a place that seemed to have been closed down for some time...
