Track Day at East Fortune
Little known venue to play host to Alfa Romeo track day
Javelin Trackdays are running a car trackday in conjunction with the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (Scottish Section) at East Fortune nr Edinburgh on this coming Saturday 21st.
The 1.5 mile motor cycle race circuit has had extensive resurfacing work carried out. Javelin boss man Colin Jebson said, "We are thrilled that our good reputation has travelled so far north. Enough for us to be entrusted with the role of running a car event at this brilliant circuit.It really is a credit to the volunteer efforts of the motorcycle club which created it.".
The event will operate an Open Pit Lane format throughout the day with a couple of novice only sessions in the morning. The owners have concerns about damage to the nice new tarmac so have requested that only road tyres are used (No competion rubber). Noise limit will be 102db static at half a metre.
