Sparco Club X1
Discussion
Am looking for a helmet to use on trackdays, snell approved isn’t too important as I won’t be doing any sprints or competitive events. Am currently considering the Sparco Club X1 (link below) however I cannot find any opinions on here or any other forums. Has anyone got one or had one?

Also consider V2 helmets if you're on a budget. Great customer service and the helmet quality far exceeds its price point.

They are 2nd on my list! The Sparco one seems great value however I would rather it was backed up by some positive experience too. http://www.v2sport.com/
Was originally going to go for a V2 Tour but I want to use it in a MX5, often with the roof down, and I know a couple of track day organisers can be a bit funny about soft top + open face.

Would echo comments about V2 and excellent service.
Had a variety of elises and now caterham and still prefer full face helmet as offer more options-you can always raise or take off visor
I thought I would feel like my view was more restricted in a full face over open face but after trying both, i do think i prefer the full face now.Had a variety of elises and now caterham and still prefer full face helmet as offer more options-you can always raise or take off visor
Strange that there dont seem to be any user opinions on the Sparco helmet as its great value and from a great name in motorsport.

I'm looking at the Sparco Club X1 - DT seemed quite keenly priced, anywhere else I should be trying?
I got mine from groubBmotorsport on ebay, much cheaper than DT and great communication / service.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sparco-Club-X1-Helmet-Fu...
