1st Lotus - Race boots

Got a 1st Lotus driver training day at North Weald next week and debating whether to take my race boots or not.

Will they be of any benefit or they overkill for one of these days?

Take them definitely. It was where I learnt just how useful proper shoes/boots are.

as Andrew will tell you ,the magic point of control for drifting is one inch of the perimetre of the sterring wheel,this one inch is the key to "winning or binning",gloves will help you to find this magic inch and once found you will want to control ,gloves will help for £20 a good investment
