HAHAHA I certainly do
And if you called me chicken over there, I'd certainly delete it
Had a good day. Frightened Calum Lockie with 115mph sideways moment in the second part of Craners - Twice! He seemed amazed at quite how good the csl was.
Had a good dice with a GT3RS...was the only other road car there being driven near the limit! The csl rooolz though!
360CS - pah! slow!

Is that 115mph into the old hairpin i.e. after turning in at craners? and an indicated 115mph or a datalogger/gps 115mph?
Not doubting just genuinely interested to know (was there on Monday again - is Donington the best track in the UK!)
Edited because I cannot spell - brain working quicker than fingers

It was the second craner (the left) just after turn in...The speed was told to me by Calum who was looking at the speedo as the slide happened.
He showed me a very tidy line through Redgate and how to take the chicane better. Well worth getting a good driver like him to show you the nuances that save tenths of a second etc..
Donington is good (especially on a bike) and certainly the best spectator track in the UK, but the Brands GP circuit is currently my love.
Thanks phatgixer. Brands GP is probably the next track I/we are going to spend some time at.
I haven't had instruction at Donington but the UK Circuit Guide provide some very useful information on dealing with Craners - that and some scary moments experimenting with the do I break, lift off, stay neutral or apply power options

Callum used to teach in the Jim Russell School when it was based at Donington. But I always saw him as a 'do as I say' rather than 'do as I do' kind of instructor. I'm surprised he didn't slap your wrists for going so quickly through the craners..
