Brands 24th June GP Circuit, Who's going?
Discussion
Jenks is taking his TVR 350i (plus another 50i and lots of very shiny racing bits that went in to it, I saw them on your workbench!) I'm taking the old E-Type with new pipes to help her breath a little better, wider tyres, upgraded brakes and anti-roll bars since the last Brands outing, so we're both out with some new formats. Good old girls even at 36/17 years they want to keep up with the Stuttgart boys. Both sound like a Spitfire now too!

Have a great day John. My Ginetta is somewhat shorter than it used to be, thanks to the weekends racing at Combe, so I won't see you there .
Home that the tweaks perform as expected.

Rich,
Sorry to hear about the shortening, front or back and any ideas when you'll be back out again? It wasn't the same corner that you and Jenks had an interesting experience at?
There is only one place at Combe to have a really serious accident. I think that I shall leave that one off my list of places to attempt slightly marginal passes from now on.
Car should be back together in a couple of weeks (very bent chassis), but the good news is that it was going really well (we were a couple of seconds quicker than when we saw you guys at the circuit), so we are moving in the right direction.

It was superb, the weather held up, organisation spot on and the track was great. First time on the GP circuit but not to be the last, We loved it. Oh yes, away in time for a few in the local and home for the footy, Come on England!!!!!!!
May be that the engine I just built and fitted was good helped a little as well
Bring on the next day like that
