First Track Day, Advice regarding noise..

Have just booked myself on my first novice track day at Brands in September. My 300ZX is fitted with a standard exhaust and cats except for 2 stainless Jap Speed rear silencers. Can anyone tell me if this sort of setup will be OK for noise or should I refit the standard boxes? Thanks

Then it's 105db. Now you need a buddy with the noise testing app on his IPhone.

very unlikely you'll have a problem.

My 300zx twin turbo had jap decats, and massive 4.5" cans with no bungs, and came out at 99db static. you'll be fine! having the cats on makes a big difference.
