Im in deperate need of something to quieten down my blade engined single seater this weekend for Goodwood. Does anyone know where I can get something that will bolt or clamp on the end of the silencer that will act as a kind of baffle. I know they do them for cars, just not sure about bikes.

Any help would be most appreciated.

You could try a Merlin Motorsport (Castle Coombe)track day muffler. Small exhaust box that clamps onto the end of the exhaust. Very popular with TVRs.

What shape are you trying to clamp it on?

Jonathan,
the chaps down at Goodwood will sell you a bolt on "thingy" - which reduced my noise level from around 106dB to around 101dB, if I remember rightly.
Have fun!
Charles

PS What lap times does your Jedi turn in at Goodwood??

Thanks gents.
Have now decdide to get a spare silencer with added baffles to run on quiet tracks and keep the race can for louder tracks. Hopefully it will arrive by Sat.

This will be the first outing for the jedi as Ive only had it a couple of months. Lets hope it lasts the day and also the weather holds out.

Other guys that race the jedi's in the monoposto 1200 (www.monoposto.co.uk) series reckon they can lap within a second of the formala 3 cars. Ive got a fireblade engine in mine and it weighs about 340 kgs without me.

I wont be blasting around too much on Sat as I will be getting used to the car and finding both my limits and the cars. Going from a very quick road tuscan to a single seater will be an eye opener.
