Any PH'ers there?

Saw a road going Tuscan racer - using the day to do a lot of setting up it seemed - and a red V8S (I think), which blatting round the chicane at very high revs!

Super day organised by Lloyds Motor Club.

My Chimaera 500 went like a dream. It's taken a long time (and several spins and offs) to get relaxed with the car, but sooo rewarding and enjoyable when you do. I'm sure I could get a lot faster yet though!

If people had been timing, they may have found times like 103 secs (don't laugh GreenV8S, shpub et al), which was only 3 secs behind a superb new M12 whizzing round.

Only casualty of the day was the engine of a brand new Honda S2000. Came out of the chicane sounding like a pneumatic drill, screamed round to Fordwater unabated and stopped working. Out of all the cars there it was the one I least expected to blow up.

I would have been there but didn't go as I assumed my Griff 500 would have been well over the noise limit for Goodwood (got sports exhaust fitted). I can't imagine that a road going Tuscan would be louder than mine though. What was your DB level measure as? I was at the Lloyd's day last year (or maybe year before) in my Lotus and there wasn't a single other TVR there - so I just assumed they were all too loud for the 98 db limit??

Limit was 101dB static (ie Loud Day).
Mine was 99 dB, which is about 3 dB louder than ever before! No idea why.

It was a bike day as well, they were all very loud.
