Smaller size has been available in the states for ages, I’m assuming that there is some European noise or type approval issue happening ?
I have wondered about importing directly from Japan, as there seems to be a healthy amount of used cars heading towards the uk, must be some space for a few tyres in a container?

Theres often many more small diameter sizes available in the us compared to Europe, it has been the case for a long time. Probably small sale volumes compared to the approval hassle.
