When we visit Switzerland next week, we'll only be there for a couple days, traveling from France to Italy. Is it feasible to just turn up with no CHF and just get what I need from cash machines or pay by card? I've no idea how much I'll need in advance.

I'm I likely to run into any difficulties if I haven't got any local currency for the drive to Lucerne?
