Just did Zurich-Geneva this morning on the train. Two and a half hours, quiet, comfortable and great scenery. Wouldn't enjoy it much both ways the same day mind, but as stress-free as it gets

I've spent most of the last 10 years on the train from Geneva to Bern or Zurich.
It just works. Get ourself a 1/2 price card and it pays back in just a few trips and you get to sit in 1st Class at a table with power for the PC, might as well be a second office.
