Schöni Fäschttääg und en guetä Rutsch to you too and too all the other English Forum rejects and fugetives who are frequenting this part of PH.

And in terms of driving, I have made a note that I MUST join one or two of the events next year....

Surely you must be missing the AMG - if not for the sound alone (the thunder from that V8 could probably melt the snow anyway).

Incedently the boss (i.e. wife) has declared she might want a SLK AMG next year (the AMG was my requirement to agree), so I may get in touch with you later on to get some pointers.

Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2011 from the "southern" (either French or Italian depending of the day of the week....) part of Swizzyland.

PS: AMG and the V8 are the tops and best substitutes for those who can't afford a V10 or V12 biggrin

Hi,
we may have a new 5-pot-voice with sports-exhaust in spring ;-) but the SLKs 32 and 55 were not sooo good on snow, the first one sometimes "hairy out of hairpins", the 2nd one much better balanced :-)
All the best for 2011.
