But the Klausen Pass seems an odd choice to use as a test route for an FT journo who has only driven a Golf GTI - it isn't the last word in smooth, wide tarmac. Last weekend we also encountered two cows wandering in the middle of the road. Undoubtedly beautiful scenery though.

Fully agree with your opinion of the Klausen ;-) Andrew.
Regarding the article, I cannot imagine for the moment to buy an E-car, what would the cows and cyclists think, no noise means BIG shock for them ;-) Hotel Widder is nice, if your expenses
are paid by some's business, but otherwise very classy, it belonged or belongs to the company I worked ;-))
