Travelling to and from the UK - a resource thread

I had a quick check and there didn't seem to be a dedicated thread on this.

I thought it might be useful if anyone needed a free ride out from or back to the UK.

I'll be driving from London to Zurich this week (w/c/ 31st May 2010) if anyone is buggered by the strike or needs a lift.

I'll have one spare seat in the ovloV this Thursday. Leaving Camden at 8:00

No need to offer to share fuel as I'll be making the trip anyway - unless you weigh over 300 lbs.

And the chunnel is paid for too.

Only one essential criterion. You have to be interesting to be with for ten hours (and not criticise my taste in music)!
