Swiss Porsche Indy
Discussion
Does anyone have a recommendation/good experience with an independent Porsche service centre in the Zürich/Deutschschweiz area? My last visit to a dealer has left me with only one usable arm and leg and I would like to start to gather info and ideas for future services plus any other unforseen work which may come along. Any feedback positive and negative (so far as permissible on a public site) greatly appreciated.
I use www.pallavicini.ch - really knows his stuff and its a proper garage. He is in Zurich- They looked after my now sold 3.2 Carrera and my current 993.
Cant recommend them enough.
Recommended to me but i`ve never used them (yet) is a place called "car lifting" - they are in Zurich as well.
Let us know how you get on.

Porsche Lörrach has a large swiss clientele as a) they're damn good and b) not as expensive as the Swiss Porsche guys. Don't know of any independants here though....
I should be getting my summer wheels back from the OPC in Basel next week- then I am free to start using Lörrach over the border Slightly less convenient, but there are a few bits and pieces I want tidying and as you say John, it's much cheaper in Germany!
O/T, but what are the specs of your new engine John- I was browsing the Ruf site and didn't find any NA parts upgrades on there!Would be interested to know what has been done to get you such a power hike! I've been idly looking at performance increases (already have a Cargraphic exhaust fitted)- wondering what a simple ECU remap might do, and of course then there is Autofarm's 3.9 l conversion.... )
Thanks guys. Fuchs, I will drop by your suggested shops and have a look. Nothing urgent but looking for next year. Have also been to Lorrach which is more reasonable than OPC but unfortunately a bit of a hike from ZH. Any experience with Wydler garage in Dubendorf? Was there recently and was impressed - many air cooled cars around and a very tasty GT3 they had just rebuilt for track use. Also knows his stuff on car setup for street/track use.
