Seeing as I am now in the heart of Europe I thought it was a good excuse to go to a few F1 races this year. Is anyone planning on going to any, if so which ones?

I'd love to do Spa and possibly Monza, my budget wont unfortunately stretch to Monaco frown

when we looked I think Italy worked out to be the cheapest, and still be driveable.

Well if that is the general consensus, maybe we should try to organise a group trip to Italy?

I'm up for it, been meaning to get my arse to a gp since we've been here, never qûite managed it for one reason or another.

ETA the Ring would also be a good one.

Italy would easily be the cheapest and asking a friend he said it was only 96 quid for a 3 days pass last year! krallicious said he is going to the Ring when he is down for the Swiss road trip, if I have any money left I would like to go.

I hear from my italian collagues that tickets aren't stictly needed at the italian gp, just climb over the fence

Marcus' firm has an office near the circuit, perhaps you can even see it?

He could hire us as temps for the weekend

Hi
Monza is rather near, as is the Hockenheim-Ring (where the German GP takes place). I did Monza ages ago with a bus-group so no parking
probs or strange scratches on our cars ;-)
Anyway an idea to be followed :-))

I may be able to sort some tickets out.

I wouldn't recommend driving though, unless you want to leave the car at Lugano/Como and train the rest. Monza/Serena is packed on race day.

That would be fantastic if you could Marcus so keep us informed. Although i'm an experienced climber from my younger years so the fence doesn't scare me smile

So far for me i'm 100% on Monza and would also like to maybe try Hockenheim.
