Want to become Swiss? then don't speed!
Discussion
A real wee-boiler this.. just read in my local rag...
A 66 year old german pensioner, who has lived in Switzerland for 46 years has been refused Swiss nationality because he was caught speeding on his bike last year.. he'd paid the fine and everything (BTW no mention of how bad the speed was!) but the immigration Amt in Bern refused him as he was not "einbürgerungsfähig"!!!
And who said the swiss weren't crazy/biased?

Met one in Basel at rugby, wore dreadlocks, smoked hash, and washed about once a month, but spouted green bile (and the site) effusively

My girlfriend's brother-in-law has been in Switzerland since the mid 1980s and has never had the desire to hand in his Canadian passport. Same goes for his wife. She lives and works there but will old onto her German passport. I have only ever met one person who has given up their nationality for a Swiss passport.
As for EF, I never had any problems with the content but then again I only used it for about 1 month and it became rather stale.

I used EF a few times before moving out here and found it full of self-righteous tts who lead very simplistic boring lives. Mention anything out of the EF 'norm' and prepare to be flamed.
Yep, I find the EF quite amusing, and visit specific parts of it- Transportation & Driving, where people know absolutely nothing about cars (apart from the few PHer's on there!) and it's generally fun to wind people up with tales of speeding, monster V8's etc. The complaints corner is usually good for a laugh too- not so much for the complaint, but either the OTT sympathy or 'Serves you right/suck it up" posts you get in response. To be fair, there are some people on there that are fountains of knowledge for day-to-day stuff; just don't reveal the petrol in your veins on there
