Finally got a ring taxi booked for the 21st June, so we'll be popping along either late fri afternoon or early sat, if anyone else is interested? may even have a spare seat in the taxi.

Have fun. I'm off to the ring at the beginning of July then as many times as I can get away with in the summer as the new toy arrives driving

The important question is, will he allow you to use said toy?

doesn't matter, I don't drive other peoples p&j. Broke my own rule once and it cost me a refurb on a 355's wheel, damn swiss raised curbs frown

That does sound like a pleasent experience! I've all ready done my rear bumper here. Grrrr.

Still a small price to pay to be near the passes and Germany though, I think. (Come to think of it though my bumper is probably a little cheaper to repair than a wheel from a 355)

it was one of those really high curbs they put round drains, no others on the road except that one, iirc it was 750chf for the refurb. some would say it was a cheap hire of a 355 lol, funnily enough he's never offered me to drive it again.

Then again the FIL might bring along his wife's Corolla smile

only if he'd turned gay, and secretly wanted a boxster
