Importing issues??

Hi, I'm in the market for a non-turbo 911 ('87 - '89 with a G50 gearbox) and am having all sorts of problems trying to locate one. I'm considering importing one from Germany. Are there any import taxes, emission tests etc that would make it prohibitive to import it? Thanks

Some German sellers will do the paper-works for importing the car, otherwise
try your local Porsche dealer.
