A couple of years ago when competing in the Swiss Porsche Cup, the official tyre supplier was Pirelli. In my class, we used the Zero Corsas and a full set (front and rear) was around CHF 1'900.- purchased direct, if I recall. So I imagine, your 800.- paid for a rear seems in the right price range.
Thanks! Although my experience from race series in UK & Hungary is that the tyres are always the "special" ones approved for racing that series/class, ie. carrying an expensive blob of paint needed for scrutineering but otherwise no different to the "normal" ones without the paint blob.
I wonder / hope this is different in CH!?

...a corrct price, but if you give me your car model I can try and ask my
Tyredealer who has among others a direct deal with Pirelli, always got a
better price than anywhere else, sometimes Pirelli could not deliver, so I
ordered always a second set to be kept at his warehouse.

Hi Rainer
MANY thanks for checking. I just got the invoice in the post this morning. It is 795 per tyre, plus fitting which is 185 total for both tyres, plus 7.6%.
Best regards
Andrew
185.- plus tax just for fitting 2 tyres seems a bit steep..... In comparison, I paid 136.- tax inclusive for dismantling and fitting 4 new tyres, 4 new valves, balancing and nitrogen refill.MANY thanks for checking. As stated by "Ultima" the fitting-price seems very high.I'll revert to my
dealer ;-) and inform you in a few days.

I can recommend my specialist: Nicola Pneus in Montreux. I know and use his shop for at least the past 20 years or so. Excellent service, very competitive prices and open on Saturday mornings. Best to book a reservation in case you need tyre servicing. Many be a bit far for those further north than the lake here, but worth checking out.
Glad to help out if need be.
