I'll be there with my TVR. I hope a lot of TVR drivers are going to Morges as of TVR's 60 birthday celebration.

Is this held near Lake Geneva? I went to a "British Car day" there in 93 with my Uncle's cars (he drove 1920 RR, I drove Aston Martin DB6) and some of his customers & friends. Had a great day there. I have some video, might try to upload it sometime.

eta this pic was taken there:

I had a look at that site, doesn't look like the same place, it looks like the event has probably outgrown the venue i remember. I will try to find the details from 93. I seem to remember it in a carpark with a restaurant on a hill overlooking the lake?

The place changed! It used to be held at "Signal de Bogis" up the Jura chain near Rolle, but due to increasing success of the event, they had to move to a larger venue : Morges city.
They changed at least 7-8 years ago as far as i can remember i was a kid when we used to go at Signal de Bogis. Hope to see you there guys !

Dear TVR owners,

we need as much TVR's as possible in Morges to celebrate the 60th anniversary of TVR. A special area in the castle courtyard will be reserved for all TVR's.
Additional the two most beautiful TVR's will win a LOUIS ERARD watch.
So take your TVR and drive to Morges on Saturday 6.10.2007!!!

Hope to see you there

Peter, i was told we'd better book for a TVR place inside the courtyard as it's not that large. I was told this via Amicale Jaguar XJ6. If so, i'll be in with TVR Taimar (bordeaux/beige) registered GE 1249 U. Alex (phone 079.216.37.42) if needed.

@TdF, about the directions I don't know exactly but just ask the assistens there.

@Alex, I got an invitation from the Swiss TVR Car Club. Don't think it's necessary to book. To be sure drop a line to Samuel from the Swiss TVR Car Club info@tvr-swiss.ch

See you........Peter

Arrived home last night after 4 days and 1600 miles of roof down untroubled driving (great weather for time of year).

We had a great day on Saturday some fantastic British classics on show (i belive over 1500 cars) not to mention a good turnout of TVR's, well doneclap it's a shame TVRCC didn't support you in some way!confused

On Sunday we did a complete lap of Lac Le'man, the only way of keeping Julia out of the shops........

Hope all arrived at the respective homes safely.

All the very best.

Ha, we also lapped the lake when we left (in '93), I wanted to go through Montreux just so I could sing the line "We all came down to Montreux, on the Lake Geneva shoreline" wink
