I lived near Zug (Langnau am Albis) for 10 years to 1983 (waaah, why did I ever leave ?), anyhow what you should be doing is driving round the countryside enjoying the fantastic scenery, try a round trip through Hirzel, Horgen, Thalwil, Langnau, the Albis pass, Mettmenstetten, and back to Zug, about an hour (or less in a TVR, I had a Taimar when I lved there).

I'll be moving to Zug in August. Have you found any fun roads that aren't "policed"?

Email me when you're next here. I'll show/tell you some places you can go where you can stop worrying about the Police so much.

Cheers

IIRC the Klaussen pass (sp?) isn't far from Zug? I visited Zug while staying in Kussnacht-am-Rigi.

Zug is probably my favorite canton in Switzerland biggrin I call it "Disney-land" it's unreal, too clean and a bit "overdone". Lot of money and nice cars there ! Scenery in indeed beautiful and i always enjoyed driving south on the lake road via Oberwil bei Zug.

will be making my monthly pilgrimage in Oct for a week or so. Doubt I will make it out of the office or parkhotel but would love to drive the roads!

I live in Adliswil which is pretty close to Zug (about 17KM) there's quite a few interesting roads to drive around but if you're taking the back roads, watch out for the cyclists!

Trust you daz. But honestly it is very good. The roads aren't bad either.Try the passes to the south of you over the alps.
