Black Forest AGM

Carrying on from our June AGM and the chats we had, it was thought that the Black Forest AGM in early July might give us some more "freedom" and lighten our hearts more Mind you the June AGM was still great!

Firstly how does the target date of Sunday July 7th sit with people? I have had a fleeting thought about staying over somewhere Saturday night in the "Forest" to get a early jump on things but somehow good beer and company may make that difficult Let me know anyway.

Same procedure as with the June AGM, PM me and I'll add you to the list (please include your PH name to help keep track).

As for the route, that will be discussed very much OFF line, though to be honest I have NO idea of routes so I'm hoping others will PM me with ideas.

If someone has an easy online tool they know of for sharing points on maps or routes let me know as I've not really got on with Google Maps for doing it.

This is not a organized race, rally or event it's just the people that want to get together for a drive doing so. If you can make it great, if not, hopefully next time.

Still, Swiss AGM was fun and Black Forrest is going to be even better with 20 more kph of legal room for our considerate, safe, legal BUT spirited driving style

Hi everyone,

Not sure on 7th of July, since we have the Zurich Festival (Züri Fäscht) in Zurich, which is a rather big occasion as it is only every 3 years. In other words, I might be unfit to drive on Sunday following a most likely long night.

Anyway, regardless if I join or not - I've driven a lot in the Black Forest, so I could be helpful of drawing up a route or highlighting which roads are great to drive and which to avoid etc.

I'm already booked up for the 7th- but would love to go for a hoon in the black forest. John gray on here (JMGS4) lives just across the border from Basel and knows a lot fo the finest driving routes. Maybe WalterU is also about?

Had a blast last saturday; was great having a co-driver too (cheers Darren)- very pleased that my old jalopy didn't put a foot wrong (I was somehow expecting a few issues). But it's running beautifully right now, might have to lavish some more attention on the old thing!

Willing to help with all possible route planning, however I'm not there on 7.7.
Drop me a private mail to keep things undercover till a route/date is actually decided upon. My closed dates are ATM 29-30.6. and 7.7.
Sundays can be a pig on the BF routes due to a flood of F,D, and CH bikers, and thusly les flics are also showing their presence. Another thing is there are a few villages who're getting outraged due to a lot of over noisy bikers (illegal pots) and are protesting.....
