Anyone know a source for historical price data in CH?

Something along the lines of this tool on the BoE website...

I've looked on the SNB website but can't find anything equivalent.

I'd like to know what the 'purchasing power' of CHF25k in 2007 would be in money today's money.

Hi

Switzerland is a low inflation country. Actually predicting price deflation in 2012 of 0.4%
I think this corresponds to what you are looking for

Not as spectacular as good old blighty in the 70s - now that was inflation! Probably coming back sooner rather than later in UK/EU as a means of getting rid of all that excess debt.

Cheers

That's great, thank you.

Inflation is a curious beast out here. There was a mild uproar last year when they put the price of a beer up at the Paleo festival as it went up from around CHF3 to CHF4 [ISTR]. A hefty rise in percentage terms but in their defence, the organisers said that they had held the old price down at CHF3 for approx. 20 years so we were due an increase!
