Has anyone done their bike test here?

What are the steps I need to take, and how difficult is it?

I get mixed answers from the bike shops I go to as to what I need to do and how much power I can have, where to take the test, etc. Would I be limited to a certain power output? I am 24, 25 in June which seems to have some significance.

What is insurance like?

Basically where do I start?

Have you had a UK driving license? I would recommend taking a direct access test in UK and then telling CH that you have additional entitlements.

Problem is, I have been here for nearly two years, and I have heard (don't know if it's true) that if you have done extra tests between coming to switzerland and changing your licence, then they don't honour it.

Anyone done it in CH from scratch?
