Hi guys, looking to get the cayenne serviced and waterpipes changed.

Can anyone recommend a good garage preferably in Nyon area.

Also would anyone happen to know where the little porsche specialist behind the Hilton / Kimpinski in Geneva moved to ?

Many thanks

I can recommend a place in Sierre, but guess that is a wee bit too far. I have posted the question on a local French speaking Porsche forum. Will get back asap when I have some info

Hi Daniel, thanks for your help, just looking at the map it is a bit far, there is an OPC in Geneva but trying to avoid driving through city if I can, we are in Nyon so would rather go Gland direction if we could.
Im out there for next week so tossing up wheather or not to bring back to UK and have done or try and find somewhere local that will do a good job.

There are two Porsche dealers in Geneva and both are easy to access from Nyon. The official Porsche Centre Geneve is near the airport in Grand Sacconex and therefore very easy. The other is the old AMAG dealer in Petit-Lancy which is surprisingly easy to get to if you take the Pont-Butin bridge.

You also have a Porsche Centre and AMAG in Lausanne and if you have the time/inclination, there could be currency savings to be had by getting work done at Porsche Annecy in France....

It's depressing that there aren't more Porsche Speciaists in Western Switzerland. That old garage near the Kempinski (known as RS Tuning but possibly unrealted to other businesses around Europe with the same name) was run by Fabrice Dhinaut, a stalwart of the Porsche Club Geneve (I have never joined as I heard that they were a bit 911-centric!). When he closed RS Tuning and set up Onetrack it all looked very profressional but within a year or so it went into liquidation. I don't know what he is up to now but perhaps worth finding our more from the Porsche Club Geneve or looking on asphalte.ch

There used to be a place near Vich but that disapeared as well.

Thanks for the info, I am actually back in London now but still need to sort the job at some stage soon.
I must be thinking of the SMAG place where I went but a long time ago now, do they also have Ferrari at the same place ? assume yes as it didnt look like an OPC but it was a while back now.
Will take a look on the map for the OPC, just trying to avoid taxis etc if I can to get home as it will be a days work.

Any idea on the hourly rate for OPC swissy ? sure will be a lot cheaper in Annecy as you say but pain to get back home after.

The new OPC is about a mile from the railway station at the Airport and should therefore be walkable via Rue Jo Siffert!

I popped in there last week and asked about servicing and they didn't appear to be terribly busy - as they had a slot this week if I wanted it.

Never inquired what the hourly rates are but would imagine that they are fairly CH(f)eap! In fact, Porsche Suisse have been 'forced' to harmonise their new car prices against the Euro and the base 991 is only CHF120k (£81k). I doubt that they will have harmonsed their workshop rates though!

I've never had a Porsche courtesy car from AMAG but once took a Golf from AMAG's onsite Europcar franchise at a reasonable daily rate. Presumably the new OPC will have its own solutions..

Annecy sounds interesting but i wonder what the charge is for Porsche labour ?
On the UK Forum one member said it was more expensive in France than the UK
I pay around 55 euros for Mercedes main agent which would make it cheaper than
UK if Porsche were at the same rate.
Anyone happen to know Porsche rates ?

Booked in for a service now at Centre Porsche Geneve. Labour is priced at CHF199 HT per hour (probably best not to translate this into GBP at the current FX rate. Errr that'll be £150, Doh!).

They have a fleet of Porsche vehicles that thez can offer as loaners priced at CHF129 per day with 100kms included (CHF0.75 / km for any excess).

Hi, car is currently on its way back to the UK this weekend and booked into local OPC to have the water pipes changed.
I know the guys there through our kent PCGB.
Only issue was convincing my dad it would be fine to drive back to the UK in the car.
Thanks for the input anyway.
