Salt!

Spotted some salt on the footpath in front of the tram stop next to my office couple of days ago. Probably a precausion against an unexpected frost. Made me wander if they have started on the roads yet... anyone seen gritters / salt being layed on roads in the north switzeland / over the border in the black forrest?

Planning for a 'final' run up there if the weather holds out, but not if there is salt all over the roads...

Sounds good and you could still have some nice "golden" colours.
Further down south here, no salt for the moment. Nothing expected to be dropped on the roads either over the next days.
Enjoy your drive if you do it, but beware of frost patches in the shadows.

Its looking good then. Predicted sunny and 10-13 degs on the weekend. Might be some nice scenery for a quick photo stop.

I'll be taking the 317 to Feldberg, likely on the Sunday. Could be the last chance of the season.
