Greetings all,
The Pantheon in Basel (Oltimer car museum) has a special Ferrari exhibition on- began on 15th October, running until 8th April 2012.
The focus is on the older Ferraris and race cars. I believe the likes of 250GTO, GTB, LM etc. are all on display- I think 40 Ferraris in total.

Usual entry is 10 CHF; I'll certainly be going along a couple of times. Usually one or two interesting cars in the car park too!

OK everyone, I finally paid a visit to the Pantheon to check out the Ferrari exhibition...
Well worth a visit and 10 CHF entrance fee. There are approx 40 Ferraris there (in addition to the regular display), some extremely rare and valuable ones included. Attached are a few pics- camera battery ran out unfortunately! Still I'll be paying another visit as it goes un until April. Maybe organise a PH outing, with possible Black Forest Hoon on top?
The Pantheon has plenty of parking space, and there's always a handful of interesting cars in the car park.
So on to some pics- I focused on the older stuff, as we can rely on AndrewD to demonstrate the more Modern Ferraris on PH hoons...

F40 and a spare engine

250LM and 250GTO

Racer of some sort, similar to a 206 Dino or P3 (Forgot to note down what it was!)

F1 cars- Laudas, Schumi '2003, Alesi 1989, Schumi 1999

Why a spare engine for the F40? Do they have a tendancy of breaking ? biggrin
Guess I may give the show a visit during the winter.

I was thinking about how nicely it would fit in the back of an Ultima!
The Ferrari dealership (Niki Hasler) in Basel also has an F40 engine on display (in fact, this might be the same one). They often have a few nice cars on display that are not for sale (e.g. an 850 Monza and a 250 Lusso)....

Rainer / all. We would be interested in going and viewing the show as a group. I think most weekends this side of Christmas are fine.

Hi friends,

Sorry, I cannot figure out exactly, there is too much going on. I think January will be OK.
Anyway, a few friends went to the show and were very pleasantly surprised.

And I "dream" of making it possible for my PH friends to get a visit to one of the most known Prancing Horse exhibition world-wide (not the Autobau, where we have been ;-)Been there once, it is Aladin's cave for horse-lovers:-))) and not open to the public.
I'll keep you posted.
