Finally got my fun car sorted. No more what car threads !!!

Purchased one of the last new Exige 240 S around. Great spec in solar yellow with touring-, sports-pack and airco. Also had Lotus stage 1, soft top roof and 4 point harnesses added. And got it at a very very good price.
Not sure when I can collect it yet, as there are some practicalities to sort out. But very excited.

Only have a crap dealer photo to share.

Looks mean and cool at the same time, plus Swiss registered looking at the front plate holder

You'll be able to join the next trip out.

What is a soft top for an Exige?

The roof from the Elise fits straight on. The exige even have the brackets installed from factory. The only issue is that you may lose a couple of hp, as the intercooler may get slightly less air as you lose the roof scoop...

Thanks all.. Yes looking forward to next hoon. Just needs to be dry, as there are semi slicks on the car.... Might have to think about some slightly more street oriented tyres at some point.

Wow what a great looking Lotus! That should be loads of fun on the Swiss mountain roads, brilliant choice.

A bit of rain didn't seem to hurt Peter in his gorgeous Tuscan S...

Likewise with my car. 4wd maybe, but my tyres looked a lot slicker than Peter's.

So similar in type to the A048s and R888s then...

The elise comes as standard on Lotus-specific versions of the Yokohama Advan Neova 07s. I think they're very good.
