picnic saturday 14 may
Discussion
Hi Guys - planning to stretch the CSLs legs this Saturday - Thinking of heading to Interlaken / Grindelwald (will be setting off from Geneva)
Plan is to find a nice stop for lunch and have a picnic
1) Anyone know any nice roads we can take?
2) Does anyone have any better suggestions for location? (ideally want something tahts no more than 3-4 hours from Geneva
and most importantly.....
3) Anyone else fancy joining me and the missus?

I would be ready to tag along (I live in St-Sulpice) but will be over the Alps down south in Ticino for the next two weekends.
If you want to stretch legs a bit, I would suggest you take the Col de la Croix, Col du Pillon and come back over the Col des Mosses. Its a nice round route and plenty of places to stop an have your picnic.
You can get on-line info on the passes here: http://www.swissinfo.ch/ger/infos_zur_schweiz/verk...

+1 to UltimaCH route idea - I too am a fan of the Cols de Croix and Pillons
Something like this: Google Maps Route
As an alternative route home, you could consider the Jaun Pass - would save about 40mins too
