Bad timing, I was selling mine a few weeks ago but I'm keeping it now. It's a minter, too. Sorry for rubbing it in...
Where have you been looking? Have you checked over in Ireland? There's a few over there.

That really is rubbing it in! Yours wasn't the black one advertised on itr-dc2.com was it?
I've looked on most honda forums, gumtree, pistonheads. I thought ireland would have a few, they seem to like their imports a lot over there.
how much do you think it would cost to get one imported? the condition of the car wouldn't have to be perfect as it would be more of a project car for me.

Yeah, that was mine on itrdc2, but its a bit different now.
not sure how much it might cost you, but I texted the guy about it today on your behalf and he said that funnily enough he's thinking about starting to import again soon.
He said he'd be in touch soon so if you're still interested then you can give me a shout if you like.

Yeah i definitely would be interested, i am currently saving now but it mite take a few months as i have to pay off my debt to my mum for my ek9 insurance :/ but i will get in contact when i have the funds.

Since I bought mine last August I've seen, erm... none (in the flesh, that is - I've seen a few UK ones in pictures on the 'net). I know there are a handful here but there are way more EFs.

I had a DC5, then bought the DA6 fresh from Japan and ran both for a few months. I sold the DC5 on for a profit (and after 18 months of use, that ain't bad) and bought the DC2 Rx.
Then I decided a couple of months later that I only wanted one car (doubts over job security didn't help) so put the DA6 up for sale but soon realised that it's such a rarity and a nice example that I'd miss it too much once it sold. So I put the DC2 up for sale and it now lives in Germany too, like your 2nd DA6.
All 3 are fantastic cars, but I'm completely into the DA6 and it's retro Japanese charm at the moment. It's great to drive, too.
