Real world EP3 MPG?
Discussion
I used to get 20-22 the first time around. I think that speaks volumes about my driving . I was doing all my miles on deserted country roads though. I have recently returned to EP3 ownership and doing a mix of traffic/motorway/town and the occasional bit of spirited driving I am getting around 27mpg. The members on CTRO seem to think 27 is a good average too on a recent thread.
I am currently getting about 330 miles to a full tank of fuel which is working out at about 28/29 MPG, this is based on mostly commuting 40 a day on the way to and from work with the odd blast here and there.
I will say that my route is a mixture of 50% b-roads and 50% a-roads, if it was more stop start driving I would imagine 300 would be the limit.

fk me thats 100 miles a tank more then me! I was skipping with joy this morning when the trip said 230 and the light had yet to come on (wait 30sec). I will say that my route is a mixture of 50% b-roads and 50% a-roads, if it was more stop start driving I would imagine 300 would be the limit.

Thrashing it gets me into mid to high teens.
An 80 mph average on a good motoroway run gets me around 32 mpg.
My commute is 8 miles across country lanes. I'm getting 25 mpg, but I'm not being economical in the way I drive.
It's rare I'll get more than 220 miles per tank from mixed driving.
The difference between the best the car will ever achieve MPG wise and what I'm getting out of it amounts to maybe £450 a year. I'd rather spend the extra and use the car as it was intended to be used.
