was just looking around at some integras and noticed something about the rear fog lights
how come the uk models have the added rear fog light in the bumper (which is usually an import feature) and most of the imports do not seem to have it?
thanks

The UK models have one fitted in the bumper because of the legal requirement for any new UK car to have a rear fog light. It's probably cheaper, quicker and easier for Honda UK to put one there than in the o/s/r lamp cluster.

The Japanese spec cars usually have them integrated into the rear lamp (like mine) by the importer or the importer's choice of garage because it looks tidier. Then an additional switch is fitted to the interior to operate it. It isn't a legal requirement to have a rear fog in Japan but once the car is over here it must have one added.
