type R wont Idle

Hoping some of you guys can help, my daughter has a typeR civic not the new shape and I cant remember what year.
Problem she's got is it wont idle, it starts fine just wont idle, unfortunately I'm not close enough to just pop round and have a look but I am guessing possibly a sensor fault ?, she' going to disconnect the battery and reset the ECU to see if that will help, but I'm guessing at some point I will get involved and was looking for some expertise from you guys as I dont know these cars at all.

Disconnectthe AICV valve and then set theidle to ~700 rpm

Reconnect the AICV and see what happens

You will need to pull the ECU fuse to resetthe PGM-I light as it will recognise when you pull the AICV.

Have you had it serviced recently?

popped up to my daughters this afternoon cleaned the trottle body did a few other bits whilst at it, new air filter etc and she's good to go.
