Hi all.
On my recently aquired integra sir (dc2) it has a full spoon system which to be honest, is very loud.
It does have a hole in the tip of the tail pipe where a bolt will go through to fit a baffle. However, I do not have the baffle.
Anyone know where I can buy one or will I have to get something made?
Thanks.

Not sure if its the same for the DC2 but the recommendation from Spoon for the EP3 N1 exhaust is that you're not supposed to VTEC with the bung in as it damages the baffles. Might be better to sell the rear section and fit OEM to keep the noise down.

But as the exhaust and bung are for use on circuits..the chances of you using VTEC is 100%! Spoon say The Spoon Sub Silencer is Designed to suppress the exhaust noise for the more restrictive circuits but whats the point of using the bung on the track if you cant use VTEC? confused

Just a vague recollection. I had an N1 for 3 years, including the bung which was horribly restrictive on power as well as noise.

Thanks for all the input. I don't know what to do with it really, it sounds epic when your in the mood, and looking to thrash it, but the motorway drone is mental. In town or the estate I trundle, very careful not to go over 3k so not to cause grief but still is very bassy.

Keep the header and centre section and just fit an OEM backbox, it's a much more manageable noise level and performance doesn't suffer

The stock DC2 exhaust is already rather well designed and quiet and doesn't drown out the engine note like loud exhausts do. Else you could go with the Mugen Twin Loop or go with a Spoon Street Muffer.

If the drone is bothering you now, wait till you strip out the interior.

Haha! Yeah I was thinking that alright!
As ear bleeding as it is now, will be dire then.

I take it as you've got the spoon engine aswell. I'd recomend the K20A engine and kit mate? Would take that to account, if I were you fellow! wink.
