Hi all.
Got a 94 sir integra last night for pittance money. Overall a grand motor but if pushing it, 4th and 5th seem to baulk a bit unless double clutching. Normal softly softly driving its grand. Now I know the syncros can go on these but the other thought i had is that the clutch biting point is very low, so is there a way to adjust this or could it be the clutch slave cylinder?

Seems like you already know what your problem is Synchros and Clutch. If the Synchro's are crunching, replace the ones for the gears that are. Replace the clutch as it's on the way out. Get them both done at the same time to save on labour costs.

You are always best off doing the cheapest things first in these cases. Change the clutch fluid, bleed it properly, and go from there.

Surely if the clutch was on its way out, the biting point would be high..

Are the clutch pedal linkages adjustable on these? Perhaps the clutch isn't disengaging fully.
I also agree on the above suggestion - changing clutch fluid (if it has hydraulic clutch that is).

Thanks lads. Will give it a bleed and change and start from there.

Apologies on the clutch, I obviously don't know the highs from the lows when it comes to biting points.
