What was the highest number UKDM DC2. A friend has 6369, can't be far from end of production? Anyone seen higher?

With the EP3's the numbers were issued in batches to dealers and applied there, not on the production line as each car rolled off. Maybe the DC2's were different though

How many came out of the factory in total?

Mine is #130 so one of the first!

~1,500 to the UK. Probably a lot more in Japan and the USA. Trying to think what other markets got them - Ireland yes, Canada and Australia too I believe. Not sure if anywhere else did.

Very VERY off topic here havoc... but you seem to know your stuff about the Honda/Integra scene.

Just picked up my UKDM DC2 at the weekend, and noticed when filling up on the inside of the petrol flap it says 98RON minumum.

So far I've been sticking in 97, as it's convenient and I'm yet to do much research on the subject. What would you recommend, going higher? A particluar brand such as V-Power?

Thanks for your help!

97RON is fine, that's what I put in mine. In fact, it will run happily on 95RON, but you will lose a few horses.

yes The knock sensor will just tweak the ignition timing.

One of the planet-brains on itr-dc2.com did some scientific research into the various super-unleadeds (back when V-Power was Optimax) and it came out that Esso Super was the best, followed by Tesco-99, followed by Optimax.

Can't remember what he was testing for - presumably energy-content of the fuel.

If 1500 came to UK why do the numbers go to 6000+ Do the other markets you mention UKDM?

Good question. I assume because they were all made in the same factory...although 7,000 seems rather low in total for UK, Japan, USA etc. etc.

1,500 has been a figure bandied around for UK sales for a long time, and given how few you see on the roads it 'feels' right.

Any idea how I could officially find out. Rather sadly, I would be quite interested!!

the numbers on a uk integra are the european numbers.

US had a number reset each year and are numbered 97-0012 or 00-1042 etc depending on the year.

JDM ones arent numbered at all except the 2000 rx's which have their own number series.

not sure what canada and aus did, they seem to be the other countries they sold in.... probably had their own numbers
