Highest UKDM DC2 #
Discussion
Very VERY off topic here havoc... but you seem to know your stuff about the Honda/Integra scene.
Just picked up my UKDM DC2 at the weekend, and noticed when filling up on the inside of the petrol flap it says 98RON minumum.
So far I've been sticking in 97, as it's convenient and I'm yet to do much research on the subject. What would you recommend, going higher? A particluar brand such as V-Power?
Thanks for your help!

97RON is fine, that's what I put in mine. In fact, it will run happily on 95RON, but you will lose a few horses.
The knock sensor will just tweak the ignition timing. One of the planet-brains on itr-dc2.com did some scientific research into the various super-unleadeds (back when V-Power was Optimax) and it came out that Esso Super was the best, followed by Tesco-99, followed by Optimax.
Can't remember what he was testing for - presumably energy-content of the fuel.

~1,500 to the UK. Probably a lot more in Japan and the USA. Trying to think what other markets got them - Ireland yes, Canada and Australia too I believe. Not sure if anywhere else did.
If 1500 came to UK why do the numbers go to 6000+ Do the other markets you mention UKDM?matt21 said:

the numbers on a uk integra are the european numbers.
US had a number reset each year and are numbered 97-0012 or 00-1042 etc depending on the year.
JDM ones arent numbered at all except the 2000 rx's which have their own number series.
not sure what canada and aus did, they seem to be the other countries they sold in.... probably had their own numbers
