Accord (CE) front disc backing plates
Discussion
Hello,
Have bought myself a cheap Accord (Rover 600) as a runaround and I am going to change the front discs and pads due to heavy steering wheel vibration under braking.
I have discs and pads and attampted the job yesterday before realising what a ball-ache it is on these cars, and I was short a 36mm socket, now I would like to have another go at it tomorrow but the disc backing plates have rotted away and I am debating wether or not to replace them.
Is the local motor factors likely to have the plates in stock? (they had the discs and pads in stock) or are there any huge reasons why I should'nt leave them off?
Thanks,
Graham.
