At the grand old age of 67, my mother is reluctantly going to sell her Type R !!!. We have a PX value from the local Ford dealer, as she needs a cheaper car to run as now retired. I am more than certain, that we can get the wheels refinished ourselves and turn the car round on a private sale in a 'sensible' time frame, but Mum doesn't want the hassle of it hanging around for a long time etc. Do they sell easily or hang around at the moment ?. It is a 2002 in silver with a/c and 60k miles etc and one lady owner .................. Dealer price is pretty poor at the moment, so could we make an extra £500 ish easily?

4100 isnt a bad shout for a px, maybe you could squeeze a bit more depending on what your buying and whether the dealer has much margin in it.

I reckon if it was black you would of got that straight away without any problems.
Colour does make a difference.
