hi need some help if u can please i have a 1.8 mb6 vti bought it cheap with 122k on the clock with full history and 3 owners from new the car goes well for standard model but with every car u want more power just wanted to know what upgrades i could do and what would be the best ie name wise would i be better with an induction kit or just upgrade the original panel filter any help would be appreciated thanks!!

to be honest the mb6 is not the best of civic's to mod out there.
you get less options & therefore you got to spend a heck alot of money to get it quicker.
best thing is a good de-cat with back box & a k&n panel filter.
you cant go wrong.

get the red K&N panel filter & a de-cat pipe that bolts on so you could bolt the CAT back on if you want.
as for the back box i would go for a powerflow or spoon as they last longer but pricey'

The above, unfortunately, is somewhat misleading.

That engine has so many tuning options, it's unreal.

When dealing with VTi Civics or any of the Type-Rs, there is only one question to ask: How deep are your pockets?

The sky is the limit depending on how much money you have.

hi cheers for that rpm ive bin told that the b18 engine is capable of good power i just want a bit more for little money
