Got to get new tyres for the car before the years out (To beat the 20% VAT)and have narrowed it down to these few.
Any one out there got opinions or stories, good or bad??
Also saw Kwick Fit doing Continental Sport Contact 3 for a not bad price too.
Yokohama- AVS dB V550
Pirelli- P-6000
Bridgstone- Turanza ER-300
Bridgstone- Potenza RE-0504
Toyo Proxies- Proxes 4

Cheers folks

EVO magazine did their 2010 tyre test this month with ContiSportContact 3 taking the top honours. I've been running them for around a year now (runflat version) and have found them to be superb, with a special nod to their wet weather behaviour.

I don't know what size rubber you need but surely the total cost won't go up by much more than £10 due to the VAT rise? Hardly seems worth it to save a tenner.

Im running Michelin Primacy HP's on my diesel Accord. I've done approx 50k miles in the year that they have been on the car, and still have plenty of tread.

90% driving on the motorway, but I do accelerate hard when I get the chance and corner swiftly.

Michelin' cost a fair bit more, but they do last a long time. Mine have given me no grip problems either.
