Honda civic type S 1.4

Right, I have finally lost paience with VW so my wifes Golf is going for good, apparently expensive parts such as sensors are bound to fail on a car this age according to VW customer services. Its less than 4 years old.

Rant over.

As a big fan of Honda ( I have an older civic as a daily driver) I have convinced my wife to get an 09 Honda Civic type S 1.4 in black. This has been decided pretty quickly so I havent had time to do any research.
The one issue which was evident was visibily past the rear spoiler but she seems fine with that.

Any comments by people who own these cars.

i find them very underpowered, but i suppose it's all relative and depends on what you're accustom to, and what you're expecting from it

The Golf is only a 1.4, I dont allow her anything more powerful due too her driving style. I know they need to be revved to get anything out of them so she should be ok. Its only for rural driving so no motorway stuff.
